What is the T2 Frax Radiance?

The T2 Frax Radiance is a skin protocol developed by Dr Sin Yong in Singapore, delivered with DEKA TORO — 785 nm picosecond with 532 / 1064 nm nanosecond and thermal modes, and used for pigmentation and uneven tone, fine texture, mild laxity (thermal mode) and more.

Depth is the variable that matters, not brightness. T2 Frax Radiance pairs two emission modes on one platform: picosecond delivery at 785 nm for tone and pigmentation, and a longer thermal pulse for tightening — calibrated for Asian skin.

Picosecond pulses fracture pigment mechanically with little heat. The thermal mode works differently, delivering controlled heating for texture and tightening. Which is used, at what depth, depends on the presentation.

The number of sessions varies with the presentation and cannot honestly be answered in advance. A course is planned individually after in-person assessment rather than sold as a fixed package.

How it is planned

Pico

785 nm picosecond delivery for tone and pigmentation.

Thermal

A longer pulse for texture and tightening.

Depth

Set to the lesion and the skin type, not to brightness.

Where it is used

  • Pigmentation and uneven tone
  • Fine texture
  • Mild laxity (thermal mode)
  • Combination presentations

Course and recovery

Mild redness after treatment is usual and short-lived. Intervals are set by the presentation and the skin's response.

What it is not

  • It is not a single-pass erasure.
  • It is not sold as a package of a fixed number of sessions.
  • It is not a substitute for addressing the inflammation that drives pigment.
“Pigment already deposited is a deposit. Inflammation is what keeps producing it.”

Questions

Is a pico laser safe for Asian skin?
The protocol was developed for it, with energy and depth set to the skin type. Suitability is assessed in person.
How many sessions will I need?
It depends on the presentation and cannot honestly be answered before assessment.
Can it be combined with R2 Glow?
Often — the two address different drivers of uneven tone.

Assessment first

Whether the T2 Frax Radiance suits a face or a body is decided at an in-person assessment with Dr Sin Yong in Singapore. There are no packages, and the honest answer is sometimes a different protocol — or none.
