What is the RVR ProLift?

The RVR ProLift is a facial lifting protocol developed by Dr Sin Yong in Singapore, delivered with Biodegradable lifting material placed along vertical vectors, and used for nasolabial folds, jowls and jawline, midface and more.

Lifting restores position, not volume — mistake one for the other and a face looks pulled. RVR ProLift repositions descended facial tissue toward its anatomical position with precisely placed biodegradable material along specific vertical lifting vectors.

The material is fully biodegradable and resorbed within about a year, after which the patient's own stimulated collagen continues to provide support. Vectors are planned for each face rather than drawn from a template.

It is frequently combined with energy-based tightening where skin quality, rather than position, is the limiting factor.

How it is planned

Reposition

Descended tissue returned toward its anatomical position.

Refine

Jawline, midface and brow vectors planned per face.

Resorb

Material resorbed within about a year; collagen support remains.

Where it is used

  • Nasolabial folds
  • Jowls and jawline
  • Midface
  • Outer corners of the eyes and brow
  • Neck

Course and recovery

Local anaesthesia is used. Swelling or bruising, where it occurs, settles over days. Intervals and maintenance are set individually.

What it is not

  • It is not a skin-tightening treatment. Laxity needs energy, not material.
  • It is not a volume treatment.
  • It is not suitable for every face — some are better served by energy alone, others by surgery.
“Lifting restores position, not volume — mistake one for the other and a face looks pulled.”

Questions

Is RVR ProLift a thread lift?
It works on the same principle of repositioning along vectors, with biodegradable material and a planning method developed by Dr Sin Yong. Which approach suits a face is decided at assessment.
How long does the material last?
It is resorbed within about a year; the collagen response it stimulates continues to provide support.
Can it be combined with other protocols?
Often — with energy-based tightening where skin quality is the limiting factor.

Assessment first

Whether the RVR ProLift suits a face or a body is decided at an in-person assessment with Dr Sin Yong in Singapore. There are no packages, and the honest answer is sometimes a different protocol — or none.
