What is the 3D Facial Reconstruction?

The 3D Facial Reconstruction is a facial lifting protocol developed by Dr Sin Yong in Singapore, delivered with HIRONIC New Doublo 2.0 (HIFU and radiofrequency) as the structural foundation, integrated with VF Lift, Time Freeze LCLR® and resurfacing, and used for jowls and jawline, midface and nasolabial folds, submental fullness and more.

A face descends in three dimensions. Lifting it in one plane flattens it rather than restoring it. 3D Facial Reconstruction maps the three layers — fascia, mid-layer volume and skin — and treats each with the modality suited to it, in sequence.

Depth one is structural: SMAS and fascial lifting. Depth two is volumetric: remodelling of adipose and collagen in the mid-layer. Depth three is the dermis: tightening and skin integrity. The order is planned so the results compound rather than compete.

For male patients especially, naturalness is paramount. The goal is never to feminise or over-refine — it is to restore the definition that existed ten years ago and return the face to its own refreshed version of itself.

How it is planned

Depth 1

Deep structural lifting at the SMAS and fascial layer.

Depth 2

Mid-layer volumetric remodelling of adipose and collagen.

Depth 3

Surface tightening and skin integrity in the dermis.

Where it is used

  • Jowls and jawline
  • Midface and nasolabial folds
  • Submental fullness
  • Brow and upper eyelid
  • Neck

Course and recovery

Some faces receive all three layers in one or two sessions; others are planned over three or four spaced visits. Downtime depends on which layers are treated. Maintenance intervals are set individually.

What it is not

  • It is not one machine. A single device is never a plan.
  • It is not the same protocol for every face — the map decides the sequence.
  • It is not a substitute for surgery where descent is beyond what energy and repositioning can reach.
“A face does not age in one plane, so it cannot be corrected in one. That is the whole reason a single device is never a plan.”

Questions

Which treatments are included?
That depends on the map. HIFU and radiofrequency form the structural foundation; VF Lift, Time Freeze LCLR®, repositioning or resurfacing are added layer by layer where assessment calls for them.
Is it suitable for men?
Yes, and it is planned differently — definition restored without feminising or over-refining.
How many visits?
One to four, depending on how many layers need treating and in what order.

Assessment first

Whether the 3D Facial Reconstruction suits a face or a body is decided at an in-person assessment with Dr Sin Yong in Singapore. There are no packages, and the honest answer is sometimes a different protocol — or none.
